Big Changes Coming Soon to Run161

After no new posts for almost two months, I’m here to give you an update on what the future holds for Run161. While it may seem like I have abandoned this project, the truth is quite the opposite.

Back in June, I announced some changes to the Run161 concept. Since then, I’ve been thinking about what I want to achieve with this project. If I can snap my fingers and turn Run161 into something, what would it be?

After churning on these thoughts for a while, I have a clear idea of what that vision involves. So, over the past month or two, I have been doing things that I believe will push the needle in the right direction; towards making that vision a reality.

Perhaps, or most likely, I should probably say, my dreams will never come to fruition. Dreams are fickle like that. But I want to be able to say I gave it a right go.

So, What’s Changing?

The most noticeable change will be a different design and identity for Run161. I have put a lot of work into this aspect of the new concept, and I am looking forward to sharing it with the world.

Other than that, not all that much. I will continue to write about running, and I have formulated a mission statement to guide me when choosing which topics to cover.

Oh, and I will also be offering some paid products and services. Yeah, that’s right. Running has become such a big part of my life, and I believe that I have acquired the skills and knowledge to offer something of value that other runners are willing to purchase with their hard-earned money.

When Will Run161 Version Two Launch?

Soon. I have most things in place already. But I want to make sure that everything is just right. So I am biding my time right now, fine-tuning the looks and functionality of the new site.

But to be a little less vague, I expect that I will officially launch the new version of Run161 just after the turn of the new year. I hope that I’ll see you there.

To make sure that you don’t miss the big event, you should sign up for the newsletter. Alternatively, you can follow the new Run161 Facebook Page, where you’ll find a small taste of the new look.
