The Berlin Marathon, my big goal for 2019, is just two weeks away. As I begin the taper in earnest, I am anxiously awaiting the chance to have another go at the marathon.
Detailing the Berlin Marathon 2019 Experience
I will, of course, publish a full race report here at Run161 shortly after finishing the race. Additionally, I plan to share my thoughts on how my training has progressed, and the work I have put in. I think it is essential to make these reflections ahead of the race.
A training block has been good or bad irrespective of how the race unfolds, and it is crucial to assess it before the race result can impact your thoughts. Look out for that article sometime next week.
Follow Run161 on Instagram and Twitter to Get Close
Further, I want to take this chance to inform all the Run161 readers that I am active on various social media channels. You can follow Run161 on Instagram and Twitter. On both platforms, I share glimpses from my life as a runner and how I prepare for the next goal race.
For the Berlin Marathon, in particular, I will be documenting the experience intimately. Throughout the entire weekend of the race, I will be sharing pictures and short video clips from everything that happens. The aim is to give you an up-close view of what running a big city marathon like Berlin is like, and share my highs or lows.
